Membership at Yaro is intended for ceramicists who are comfortable working independently and have a solid understanding of the full ceramic process.

To be considered for membership, please complete our Membership Application. We'll review your application and follow up by email.

If approved, we'll invite you to visit the studio and discuss membership options, availability, and next steps.

No worries! Many members begin through our classes, workshops, or independent study offerings before transitioning into membership.

  • Prime & accessible location on Kent St in Greenpoint, Brooklyn (a block away from the Greenpoint Av G stop and 2 blocks from the East River Ferry)

  • Natural sunlight & state of the art studio lighting

  • Fully air conditioned & heated studio with HVAC & filtration system

  • Throwing wheels & throwing designated areas 

  • 5 Kilns, all available for rental

  • Large communal work tables for hand-building

  • Glazing room, glazing equipment & studio test tiles

Pricing

 $300/mo Full Shelf & $260/mo Half Shelf 

*Membership pricing includes tax. Additional costs to our membership fees include clay and firing fees at 4 cents per cubic inch bisque/glaze firings & tax.

Commitment & Cancellation Notice

Memberships require a minimum 3-month commitment. After that, you can cancel anytime with at least 30 days’ notice before your next billing date.
